A Legacy of Expertise
The company was founded by Harvey Sarner in 1971. Harvey began his career at the American Dental Association (ADA) in 1961, where he served as associate counsel. During his tenure, he was instrumental in securing the ADA’s headquarters building, advised multiple councils, and played a major role in establishing member retirement and insurance programs. After leaving the ADA in 1971 to start his own law practice, Harvey continued to support doctors in practice transitions, eventually earning honorary ADA membership upon his retirement in 1987.
In 1987, Richard Collier succeeded Harvey, bringing with him nearly two decades of legal experience representing doctors. Richard broadened the firm’s focus, expanding the seminar business and forging strong, enduring relationships with clients nationwide. Known for his intellect, kindness, and vibrant personality, Richard served on the boards of several prominent national dental organizations and dental schools, leaving a lasting impact on the profession.
Brandon Collier joined his father’s firm in 2001 after practicing law in a traditional firm setting. With his father’s close mentorship, Brandon quickly became a trusted advisor and speaker, lecturing extensively across the country. Following Richard’s passing in 2007, Brandon took over the practice, honoring the legacy while steadily expanding the firm’s services to meet the evolving needs of doctors and private practice owners.
